Lesson week 3- Ring Around the model

This week you will practice using a light placed selectively around the model to make a "ring around the model." This week you will submit 4 photos of your subject with light placed at 4 different angles. These angles are specific so pay close attention.

Looking at the diagram below you will place the camera at zero (at eye level with the model), with the model facing the camera. The light will then be used at

  1. 0° (or just behind you and over your head)

  2. 90° R

  3. 180° (hidden behind the model)

  4. 90° L

You can use any household light, flashlight, phone light, etc. It should be a constant hot light (always on) not a flash.

You will submit all 4 photos to NEO
