Make a portfolio WEBSITE
Step 1:
Take Great Photos.
Making sure you have a good copy of the work you intend to upload is a huge step in the process of making a portfolio. Taking photos doesn't seem that hard, but taking it correctly is very challenging.
You should also know how to save your digital work with integrity.
From Photoshop: Choose File > Save As. Choose a format from the Format menu. Specify a filename and location. In the Save As dialog box, select saving options. Click Save. On the JPEG Options screen choose 12 quality. Under Options, set the output resolution. Choose High (300 ppi) for a high-res image for printing.
From Illustrator: File > Export > Export As > Type in a filename and set Format to JPEG. Set how you want to save your artboards, then hit Export to continue. On the JPEG Options screen choose 12 quality. Under Options, set the output resolution. Choose High (300 ppi) for a high-res image for printing.
From Procreate: Tap Actions (Wrench Icon) > Share > JPEG, then select a destination for your file.
Note:
Crop out all background items, tape, supports for work
Save digital files as .jpg or .png at highest quality to preserve the images resolution
Step 2:
Build a Site
Press the elipses dots (...)
Make a copy
Rename it to your name
Start adding your art
Step 3:
Choose What You Post & How to Organize it
What art should you post?
Is there any required work that needs to be on there?
Should you include sketchbook images?
You can organize by subject, project, or another method that you have seen or like.
Draw an org chart to start so that you know how to build your site.
Step 4:
Publish & Share
There should be a button or a screen that allows you to share your site to the public.
Make sure that you name the site something professional and that you have checked over the site for errors (they happen to the best of us).
Every single time you make a change to the site press the PUBLISH button (which should be called the save button).
Step 5 ish:

Accomplishments, such as awards or certificates of participation in special programs.
