LIGHT

You will turn in a photo that depicts the phrase "Light" in an extremely creative way 

The only way we can truly see light is because of its contrast to the darkness, not merely because of the presence of darkness. Light would still exist just not in the way that we see it now. Your challenge is to find the light. In photography, that is the basic premise of all photos.  

I will say for the record I believe that you will submit wonderful work.  However, there are some of you that are looking for a very literal interpretation or a way out of doing work... so for those of you who fall into those categories here are some ground rules:

1. no use of stand lights, hot lights, or any other light that has a bulb

2. yes, you can use natural light or a variant be safe please if using a human-made source of light we are in a fire prone area, ask your parents first and use wisdom, fire in a fireplace not anywhere else. Maybe a reflection, candles, sunset, etc)

3. yes, there can be people in the picture but these should be artistic photos and not headshots, mugshots, snapshots, etc.

4. no pets in this one, unless you can get them to hold completely still! 

5. light should be the star of the image, or the lack thereof

6. there must be some darkness to balance the image

7. you must use the rules we have learned thus far to take the picture
