MOTION BLUR/SHUTTER SPEED
This week you all will be turning in 3 photos that exercise your use of shutter speed in a way that proves you understand how to change the settings on the camera. The three pictures must show the following:
All of the field in focus and all movement frozen in time.
Background stays still and is in focus while subject is in movement and blurred.
Panning with the subject making the backgroud out of focus and the subject appears clear and to be standing still.
1.
All of the field in focus and all movement frozen in time.
This photo was taken at a higher shutterspeed on a tripod to keep everything in focus and capture the subject frozen in the air.
ISO 800, f/29, 1/200
2.
Background stays still and is in focus while subject is in movement and blurred.
This photo was taken at a slower shutter speed with a tripod. The camera was focused on the background and the subject walked by as the photo was taken.
ISO 100, f/25, 1/10
3.
Panning with the subject making the backgroud out of focus and the subject appears clear and to be standing still.
This photo was taken at a medium slow shutter speed and the camera was not on a tripod. Instead the camera was panned to follow the subject while engaging the shutter button/taking the photo.
ISO 100, f/36, 1/25
