Instructions
You will use what ever materials (found paper, colored pencils, etc.) you have available to you to create an image of the sun and the moon. Your interpretation should be unlike any other persons' that you've seen before. It should be clever, well planned out, and thoughtfully created.
You can use color or none. You will use which ever techniques are familiar to you. Please use your imagination and have fun with it.
The sky's the limit.
What you need to turn in?
You will photograph your assignment following the guidelines for cropping and submitting your images.
On Friday your final assignment will be turned in on Canvas.
Criteria
Creativity
5- Artwork is highly original and imaginative, demonstrating a unique interpretation of the sun and moon.
3- Artwork shows some originality, but may resemble common interpretations.
1- Artwork lacks originality and creativity, closely resembling other works.
Planning & Execution
5- The piece is exceptionally well planned and executed, with clear attention to detail and craftsmanship.
3- The piece is adequately planned and executed, though some details may be overlooked.
1- The piece appears rushed or poorly planned, lacking attention to detail.
Use of Materials
5- Materials are used effectively and thoughtfully, enhancing the overall composition of the artwork.
3- Materials are used appropriately, but there may be missed opportunities for enhancing the composition.
1- Materials are poorly utilized, detracting from the overall quality of the artwork.
